Squee! It’s…

Joel McHale and Christine Adams on the delightful Pushing Daisies! He sarcastically skewers pop culture on The Soup; she flirted/broke up with D.L. Hughley on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and saved the world from Simon Pegg on Doctor Who. Two great tastes, better together!

  1. Dude! It was totally bugging me as to who that guy was! Thanks!

And of course I thought that Christine Adams was Jabe the tree that saved the world from Zoe Wanamaker on Doctor Who and whom Sam saved from Marc Warren on Life on Mars. I blame the tree make-up. That person is Yasmin Bannerman.

    As you were.

  2. Lalalalala! We haven’t gotten the second season of Life on Mars yet lalalala can’t hear you lalalalala will see it soon (can’t wait!).

Multiple people keep having to save the world from Zoe Wanamaker, don’t they? I’ll be kind of disappointed if no one ever saves the world from her again.

  3. Of all the things you could be spoiled for on Life on Mars that’s really really tame. Not even the worst for that episode.

(Also, don’t read my interests on my user profile on lj, you’ll be spoiled big time.)

If the Doctor never meets Cassandra again, it will indeed be a sad day.

  4. Didn’t mean to accuse you of spoiling–just really excited BBC America has finally set a date and dancing around with my fingers in my ears avoiding big spoilers. Will avoid your profile carefully. 🙂

I’m fascinated by the Cassandra arc, as she was a major component of my getting turned off early in the new run by “The End of the World” (although you’re right, I liked the tree). But I was sobbing in my soup by the end of “New Earth,” so I’m intrigued by how they were able to expand that character and her world.
