PUSHING DAISIES: Freak Fluke Fluke Freaks?

I couldn’t help but notice that on this week’s Pushing Daisies, the Chinese descendant of a Civil War hero who fell before the combined onslaught of the dead girl, the Jedi, and Pooh has a very similar name to the fourth president of the LDS Church. It’s probably due more to Pushing Daisies’ charmingly oddball naming conventions (Boutique Travel Travel Boutique, The Darling Mermaid Mermaid Darlings) than to any secret mind control strategy on the part of Mitt Romney, but I still may spend the next week trying to untangle the mysterious symbolism linking swords, QVC, and the demise of polygamy.
